Radiant station purpose is to mix the primary high temperature loop to reduce the supply temperature to the radiant floor setpoint. For example the primary heating loop may operate at 180°F but the floor only needs 100°F. Using our 220VAC Radiant Thermostat the floor temperature can be adjusted according to the outdoor temperature using the motorized valve modulation.
***The radiant station is not needed for heat pump system since the temperature is already optimum.***
