This warranty applies only to freeze dryers used in clean environments and operated according to Harvest Right's guidelines. Consumers must:
- Use the appliance correctly as per the included instructions.
- Install the appliance according to the instructions and local electrical codes.
- Connect the appliance to a grounded power supply and handle power issues, including fuse replacement and wiring repairs.
- Operate the appliance in an open, clean area with proper airflow and within temperature ranges of 35°F (2°C) to 95°F (35°C).
- Avoid damaging the appliance during installation or operation, particularly by not lifting it by the door.
- Properly maintain and operate the freeze dryer and vacuum pump.
- Ensure that freeze-dried food or materials are fully dry before packaging.
- Use durable containers that prevent air or moisture penetration after sealing.
- Include fresh, properly functioning oxygen absorbers in the sealed containers and ensure they haven’t expired or been exposed to air prematurely.
Harvest Right does not take responsibility for the quality of the freeze-dried food, materials, or their packaging.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Modifications or third-party accessories, which will void the warranty.
- Consequential or incidental damages, including property damage or expenses caused by warranty breaches.
- Service calls unrelated to defects or malfunctions.
- Damages caused by unauthorized repair services or use of non-Harvest Right parts.
- Issues arising from misuse, inadequate power supply, or external factors like natural disasters.
- Altered or removed serial numbers void the warranty.
- Extension cords or improper power connections.
- The warranty does not cover personal injuries, incidental damages, or economic losses.
- The warranty does not transfer to non-original owners.
