The ACiQ 66,000 BTU 80% AFUE Single Stage Multi-Positional Gas Furnace is an affordable furnace designed to deliver reliable heating performance and reasonable comfort throughout your home. Although it operates at a basic efficiency, it still provides sufficient warmth, even during the coldest parts of the year.
With an input capacity of 66,000 BTUs and an efficiency rating of 80% AFUE, this furnace outputs 52,800 BTUs of usable heat. The 80% AFUE means that 80% of the fuel consumed is converted into heat for your home, while the remaining 20% is lost through flue piping and normal operational waste. Because of this efficiency level, metal venting is required; if plastic/PVC venting is preferred, a 90%+ efficiency model would be necessary. The unit runs on natural gas out of the box but can be converted to propane with an optional LP conversion kit. However, this model is not Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx compliant, and if shipped to California, it may incur an additional mitigation fee.
