Installation and Maintenance

Installing the ACIQ central ducted air handler is straightforward and similar to replacing a standard air handler. Your HVAC technician will handle all necessary connections, including electrical, refrigerant lines, thermostat wiring, and system communication links. The unit also connects directly to your existing return and supply ductwork.

Thanks to its multi-positional design—compatible with upflow, downflow, or horizontal configurations—this air handler offers flexible installation options to suit a variety of spaces. It can be controlled by any 24V thermostat that supports two stages of heating.

For added comfort during colder weather, optional supplemental electric heat kits are available as a backup heat source. If maintenance is ever required, the built-in intelligent control board displays diagnostic fault codes to help quickly identify and resolve issues.

Please note: This air handler must be paired with a compatible condenser and other required installation components, which may be sold separately if not included in your product bundle. To enable electric-only heating, an electric heat kit (sold separately) is required.
