Installation & Maintenance
Installing the ACiQ central ducted air handler is a straightforward process, similar to replacing a standard air handler. Your HVAC technician will complete all necessary connections, including electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, thermostat controls, and communication wiring. The unit is also connected to your existing return and supply ductwork for efficient air distribution.
This air handler is designed with flexibility in mind. Its multi-positional configuration—upflow, downflow, or horizontal makes it adaptable to a wide range of installation setups. The system can be controlled by any 24V thermostat with two stages of heating capability.
For added heating performance during extremely cold weather, optional supplemental electric heat kits are available. When it comes to maintenance, the built-in intelligent control board provides diagnostic fault codes, helping technicians quickly identify and resolve any system issues.
Please note: This air handler must be installed alongside a compatible condenser and other necessary components, which may be sold separately if not included in your product package. To operate using electric-only heat, a compatible electric heat kit is required and also sold separately.
