With a variable speed DC blower and advanced communicating technology, it automatically adjusts BTU output to optimize energy use and maintain ideal comfort levels. Compatible with any 24v thermostat, this 1.5-ton high-efficiency air handler can be installed in upflow, downflow, or horizontal orientations and fits into tight spaces thanks to its slim-fit cabinet. It also offers higher-performance capabilities, making it eligible for better tax credits and rebates. Plus it's compatible with R454B refrigerant for eco-friendly operation.

Installation and Maintenance
The installation process for the ACiQ Extreme+ central ducted air handler is similar to that of other replacement air handlers. Your technician will handle electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, as well as link the air handler to the return and supply ductwork. This air handler is multi-positional (upflow, downflow, or horizontal) and features a narrower cabinet design, offering greater versatility and easier installation compared to other models. It is compatible with any 24v thermostat that supports two stages of heating. For colder days, supplemental electric heat kits are available as a backup heat source.
If maintenance is needed, the air handler’s intelligent control board will display fault codes to help diagnose any issues with the system.
Important Note: For proper function, the air handler must be installed with a condenser and other required installation equipment, which may incur additional costs if not included in the product bundle. Additionally, an electric heat kit is required for straight electric heating and is also available at an extra cost.
