The MRCOOL® DIY Mini Split 48,000 BTU 20.5 SEER 4 Zone Ceiling Cassette Ductless Air Conditioner and Heat Pump - 9K + 9K + 12K + 18K offers a complete solution to your home’s heating and cooling needs. This system can heat & cool two areas up to 450 square feet with the 9K air handlers, one area up to 600 square feet with the 12K air handler, and another area up to 900 square feet with the 18K air handler, all while capable of an Energy Star-certified, 20.5 SEER high-efficiency rating. However, the best feature of this system is the ease of installation it provides to the homeowner. With the included pre-charged line sets, some hand tools, and a few hours of time this entire system can be completely installed. This system comes equipped with many functions that separate it from the rest. It has multiple operating modes, which include AUTO, HEAT, COOL, FAN-ONLY, DRY (dehumidification) and SLEEP. It also features the Follow Me function, which allows the system to continually adjust the room temperature based on where the hand-held remote controller is. Other ceiling cassettes have strict installation requirements in less ideal locations, but the MrCool® cassette doesn't require ductwork or wall space and is perfect for new constructions or retrofits. The cassette works with the MrCool® DIY Quick Connect line set which makes installation even easier since it is precharged with refrigerant, eliminating the need for vacuuming. The No-Vac® Coupler can be used to increase length. With advanced filtration, each cassette offers an Elevation function that lowers the filter panel for easy filter maintenance. Since it doesn’t require ductwork or wall space, it is perfect for both new construction or retrofits. The cassette works with the MrCool® DIY® Quick Connect® line set which comes precharged with R-410A refrigerant. The No-Vac® Coupler can be used to increase the length of the line set if needed. In addition to the many operational modes and quiet operation, the cassette features swing technology and an Elevation function that lowers the filter panel for easy maintenance of the air filter. All of these features can be controlled with the included remote.
