The ACiQ-48-EHPD 4 Ton Inverter Heat Pump uses advanced inverter technology to convert AC power into DC, allowing the compressor to precisely adjust its speed. This dynamic modulation enables the system to vary its BTU output based on real-time demand, ensuring consistent comfort and energy-efficient operation in all weather conditions.

Equipped with integrated sensors, the condenser actively monitors key performance indicators such as indoor and outdoor temperature, duct pressure, and refrigerant levels. Upon initial startup, the system enters a learning mode—analyzing and storing operational data to continuously refine and optimize performance over time.

Traditional systems sized for heating can lead to overcooling during the summer. Thanks to its self-adjusting inverter design, the ACiQ-48-EHPD automatically scales output based on seasonal demand. Installing the ACiQ central ducted air handler is straightforward and similar to replacing a standard air handler. A licensed technician will complete all necessary electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication line connections, along with integrating the unit into your existing return and supply ductwork.

Designed for flexibility, this multi-positional air handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal installations. It’s compatible with any 24V thermostat that supports two stages of heating, making it easy to pair with your preferred control system. For colder climates, optional electric heat kits can be added as a reliable backup heat source.

An onboard intelligent control board helps simplify diagnostics by displaying fault codes if any issues arise, streamlining maintenance and service.

Important: This air handler must be installed with a compatible condenser and additional installation components, which may be sold separately unless included in a bundled system. To enable electric-only heating, an electric heat kit is required and available at an additional cost.
